The wind turbine components (blades, five tower sections, hub and nacelle) were manufactured in India, Vietnam and China, shipped to the Port of Houston, TX and Port of Vancouver, WA then transported to Oyen, AB and lastly trucked via oversize load approximately 210 km directly to the turbine site where they’re assembled in place.

Consultation and Engagement
We value and consider local community interests and priorities. We engage government, employees, local communities, investors, shareholders, and Indigenous communities. Our goal for every project, every facility and every initiative, internal and external, is to build, operate, and align with the interests and priorities of those closest to, and most impacted by, our operations.
Traffic Management and Site-Specific Emergency Response Plans
Our Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors, Borea Construction (“Borea”) and Rising Edge Group (“Rising Edge”) have each developed Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and Site-Specific Emergency Response Plans (SSERP) for their portions of the project.
Safety is a top priority, and we recognize construction will bring a lot of activity to the community. We’ll work to be the least impactful as possible. We’re seeking feedback on the Traffic Management and Emergency Response Plans developed for the project construction.
Rising Edge is responsible for completing the design, construction and commissioning of the project’s Goldeye 620S Substation in addition to the design of the collector line system. Borea is responsible for the construction Best online live roulette of access roads, turbine foundations, turbine assembly and collector cable installation.

Community Investment
The community and economic benefits for the project would be similar to those for Halkirk Wind, including a new and steady stream of municipal tax revenue, and annual lease revenues to landowners.
Development of the project will generate many jobs for the construction portion and will create permanent employment opportunities for approximately 8-10 people, including one full-time facility site manager, and service and maintenance personnel.
